A Place to Explore, Learn, and Belong
At Wyldwood Prep, campus means more than just a building—it’s forest trails, dappled sunlight, rain-kissed leaves, and cozy indoor spaces that reflect our deep commitment to nature and child-led learning. Our hybrid campus blends the best of outdoor exploration and indoor comfort to support whole-child development.
Instead of long hallways and traditional classrooms, our days unfold beneath the trees, beside mossy logs, and within the changing rhythms of the natural world. Our indoor and outdoor learning spaces are intentionally designed to foster curiosity, creativity, and a deep sense of belonging—from our forest basecamp to our cozy indoor home-base.
Indoor Home-Base
1603 Officers Row, Vancouver, WA
Battle Ground Lake, Battle Ground, WA
Our cozy indoor home-base is nestled along the beautiful and historic Officers Row in Vancouver, Washington.
Surrounded by garden paths, open green space, and a charming playground just steps from our front door, it offers a warm and inviting setting for indoor learning, creative play, and connection with nature—even when we're inside. Inside, the space reflects the same values we bring outdoors: simplicity, beauty, and a sense of belonging. With natural light streaming through large windows, flexible open areas for group activities, and cozy nooks for quiet moments, our indoor home-base is both a refuge from the elements and a space for curiosity to thrive.
Forest Basecamp
Our forest basecamp is the heart of Wyldwood. This is where the magic happens—where children climb, build, wonder, and learn through direct interaction with the land around them.
Features of our basecamp include:
Open-air shelters that keep us dry and grounded, no matter the weather
Log circle gathering spaces for storytelling, singing, and shared reflection
Natural playscapes that encourage movement, collaboration, and imaginative play
Tool and gear stations to support forest crafting, science exploration, and nature projects
Here, every tree becomes a teacher, every trail a lesson in resilience and observation. Rain, mud, wind, and sunshine are part of our daily rhythm, and we embrace the elements as part of the learning journey.
